 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  There is a tree.

There is this (as my husband calls it) wrapped package in the other room.  He in says that I can't tell what it is because it is wrapped.

I felt sure that this just had a note saying the spinning wheel was in the other room but instead there was:

 A tensioning box  used for weaving and plying multiple singles.

And I have some Rambouillet that I want to 3-ply so I will try it out.

I really appreciated his taking up woodworking.

Hats, hats, hats...and one sweater

Hat for DJ

All the grands but 2 got hats.  The oldest grandchild got treated like the adults and got fruit cake and Cuba cheese, because there is a hat to be finished for her daughter.  and the youngest grand is getting a sweater, which I should finish today.  Then the last hat, and I am ready to finish the 2 January birthday's that I don't have finished already.

Winter is here

We have a winter storm here today,  there was ice this morning, then the snow started, the first picture was taken at 3:00 the second at 4:30.
