Busier than a one-armed paperhanger

Or as I read on a blog the other day, (wish I remembered where so I could link)busier than a centipede in a toe counting contest.
Anyway, Ike came and went and we did not lose the 600 to 1000 dollars worth of food in the freezer, which is crammed to the top. Thank goodness!

We are making big changes here. I have been working at Riker's Ridge elementary and the High School, but haven't been called to the Jr. high as yet.

Sierra has decided that she wants to be home schooled, and even though both Bob (her therapist) and I told her that she will work harder than she ever thought possible, she still wants to do it. So we are transferring her to Hoosier Academy, hopefully she will start on Wed. She spent most of the weekend taking placement tests. So she is learning about the work. Hoosier Academy is in Indianapolis, so I will be going up to Indianapolis every Wed. and Friday. (Unless I can talk them into putting her on the Tuesday, Thursday track.) The rest of the week she will be working from home on her computer.

So we shall see, how Christopher and I hold up, since he has said that he will drive her on the days I have to work.

I have started the sweaters for the kids for birthdays and Christmas, and have finished Sierra's, Caleb's sleeves and back are done, and Rayne's sleeves are done and I am almost halfway up the body. It is like eating potato chips, I just can't wait to see what this stripe will look like. I had ordered the yarn (Dale Yarn - Falk) and once I started I realized that I wanted a darker green, and now a deep wine, so those are Henry's Attic sock yarn that I have dyed. I am liking the colors. Once I finish the stranded knitting we will see how long it takes me to get the embroidery done. And I found a place on line to order googley eyes that sew on instead of glue on ones so I am set for life with 2 different sizes.

Ok off to check the math that she has to hand in before she transfers, and then I am am going to knit.
