The thing about knitting Lace...
Is that while it is on the needles it looks like a ratty old dishcloth or pile of string. And you really can't see anything until it is off the needles. Of course if what you have is a gray shawl, on a gray carpet, on a gray day, it still doesn't look like much.
This is about 1000 yds of handspun Merino/Alpaca. And is the second of the MMario MMystery Knit-a-longs.

Oh, I don't know, I can tell that it is going to be beautiful! The color variation is just enough to give it a dreamy look and not be boring...have to say (again) that I am in awe of your spinning! Happy holidays!

I think it's beautiful! And grey is actually one of my favorite colors to wear :)
